Intelligent Mobility in Berlin-Brandenburg Initiative

connected, automated and electrified

Objectives of the initiative

The initiative tackles the central challenges of automated and connected driving and tries to find solutions for the condensed, urban space by developing and testing innovative mobility technologies.

The partners involved address the latest trends in mobility change – intermodality, sharing, app-based mobility offers, networking and automated driving – but also pool and accelerate the development of the competencies and activities of the players in the region. As part of a number of projects, companies and research facilities are already developing, testing and implementing pioneering solutions.

The growing metropolis of Berlin faces typical urban mobility challenges and is already a real-world laboratory with numerous interfaces for piloting projects in the field of future-oriented and intelligent mobility.

In order to bring new mobility technologies, products and services to market maturity, the initiative unites the region's strengths.
